Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this idyllic town is home to a shop, Post Office, cafe, butcher, golf course and popular pubs. Further eating and shopping facilities can be found at nearby Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin. Take to the water at the nearby Blue Flag beach of Prestatyn, or visit the lakes in Brenig or Bala. Keen walkers shouldn’t miss a trip to Snowdonia National Park or the fantastic stretch of coastal path that lines the shore, while history lovers should visit nearby Chester, Victorian Llandudno or the castles at Rhuddlan and Conwy.

Inside, this property has been sympathetically converted to offer modern accommodation with plenty of original charm retained. The spacious kitchen diner is light and bright, with plenty of surface space and a good-sized dining table. Perfect cottage, well equipped, super clean and very friendly hosts. Nothing was any trouble . Adored the cats , donkeys and little Jack the Shetland pony. Lovely fresh laid eggs included in our welcome gift. Perfect location to explore North Wales. Really Enjoyed our week there

Lovely clean, well equipped cottage. Greeted by the owner but was then left alone although they were close by if you needed them. The welcome gifts were a nice touch especially the free range eggs.

Lovely clean modern barn conversion complex. Despite being in the middle of 2 other cottages it was quiet and peaceful. Bedrooms were quite warm at night. Attentive hosts. Thoughtful arrival gift of fresh eggs and Eccles cakes!! Fantastic location just off the A55 so perfect for visiting all the top sites. The cottage is spacious, clean and well-equipped. It was the perfect location for our little family (2 adults + 2 kids: 4 and 1). In the mornings the little ones loved visiting the donkeys before heading out for our trips. You definitely need a car but with that you can reach a huge a variety of places worth seeing (e.g. Snowdonia, Conwy, Chester, Read more...). Caerwys with some nice walks is even within walking distance and there you also find a nice cafe etc. Hide

Lovely cottage clean comfy quiet, had all you needed just turn up host was welcoming and was on hand if you needed anything nice welcome pack which was a nice touch .Great place for exploring wales loved the friendly cats
