This farmhouse property is situated on the owner’s working farm on the beautiful Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The village is set on Cefyn Bryn Common where horses, sheep, and cows graze freely, and offers a village shop and welcoming pub. From the village’s vantage point there are far-reaching views to the coast, which lies just three miles away, and offers a choice of fantastic beaches, including those at Rhossili Bay, Caswell Bay, and Nicholaston Burrows. There is also a wide range of attractions in the area, including numerous such as those at Oxwich and Swansea, The Mumbles, and the watersports centre at Oxwich. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).
On arrival at this farmhouse cottage, guests will immediately gain a sense of just how special it is and how well it has been maintained. There are exposed stone walls through the property, as well as beamed ceilings and well-chosen furnishings which add to the overall character of the house. The lounge, though spacious, has a welcoming cosy feel to it, with its warming wood burner set in the large fireplace, alongside comfortable seating and the Smart TV. The kitchen is, again, a characterful room with a snug breakfast area at one end, as well as a large dining table and a range of contemporary equipment and fittings including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine, meanwhile, can be found in the separate utility room. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a king-size room which benefits from an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, but also offers an additional single bed, making it perfect for parents with a young child. The third bedroom is a pleasant super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom which on request can be made up as a twin room, the bathroom with its shower-over-bath and WC can also be found on the first floor.
Outside, there is a courtyard to the front of the house where guests will find garden furniture, a BBQ, and storage for bikes, whilst a set of steps to the side of the property leads to the rear lawned garden.
