In fact, Crickhowell was awarded '2018 High Street of the Year'! There is pony trekking and caving nearby too. The famous book town of Hay-on-Wye is 30 minutes away, with international acclaim for its annual literary festival, there are independent second hand bookshops to browse. Nearby attractions include Llangattock Escarpment which is well known for having some of the best caves in Europe, there are local guides available to help you explore. Stroll along the lane to the Wern Riding Centre for a few hours in the saddle up on the hill.

Step into the dining area, which leads onto the comfortable lounge with soft furnishings where you can curl up and enjoy a film together on Sky TV, or simply relax with a hot cuppa. The Shaker-style kitchen is small yet perfectly formed - with everything you could need for your stay. Heading down the hallway you will find a contemporary style bathroom, with a lovely jacuzzi-style bath, power shower and WC. Further along you will find the king-size bedroom, an ideal space to retreat to at the end of the day with sumptuous bedding and fluffy towels supplied. Total bliss!
