Penmachno is a traditional quiet village with a pub and cycle trail centre, and is close to Sarn Helen. There are many fantastic walks and cycle trails right from the door. This lovely cottage is ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia National Park, home to Wales' largest peak, Mount Snowdon. Nearby Betws-y-Coed is a fantastic base for adventure training, and offers a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and a host of outdoor activities. Discover Surf Snowdonia with its wave surf lagoon, Zip World Caverns with one of the longest zip wires in Europe and Bounce Below, a trampoline park set in an underground cavern. You can visit National Trust Bodnant Garden, Conwy Castle or take a trip on the steam railway.
On entering this charming and traditional stone cottage, you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With comfy seating, Smart TV, DVD and a cosy wood burner.The light and airy lounge is a welcoming space, ideal for snuggling up in and relaxing at the end of the day. You will also find a charming and bright dining area, also with a wood burner, and the attractively designed kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge and washer/dryer. Going upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There’s a comfy king size room with smart TV and a cosy bunkbed room with additional single bed. You will also find a shower room and a separate WC.
Stepping outside, you can relax and unwind after a fabulous day in the enclosed, south-facing garden with table and chair set and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining. Lockable storage space is available for bikes and canoes.
