A few miles away lies Symonds Yat Rock, an ancient hill fort from where visitors can enjoy the breath-taking views across Valley. Also close by, and making a great place for a family day out, is Symonds Yat West Leisure Park, where visitors can enjoy a river cruise, play on the amusements, and burn off some energy on the children’s adventure playground.
This three-storey property makes for an interesting place to stay with some unusual original features adding to its charm. From the front door, a few steps up lead to the bathroom, where there is a shower-over-bath and WC. Continuing up the stairs, guests come to the main bedroom, a relaxing, light-filled room double room with an ornate bed and a large picture window. On the first floor, the cosy lounge has a comfy corner sofa a warming wood burner, attractively exposed stone walls, a TV, and DVD. The kitchen/diner is also located on the first floor and offers an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Stairs lead to the remaining bedroom, a restful single room on the mezzanine floor, from where there is views across the grounds and surrounding countryside.
