A delightful retreat where you can stroll down to the stunning coastal path, just a short walk away. One of five impressive properties well placed for experiencing the best that the coastal and rural landscape has to offer in the UKs only coastal national park. Amble to the picturesque Porthclais harbour, where you can kayak or boat straight out to sea. Also a short walk, taking in lanes and fields, or the coastal path to the pebble beach at Porthllisky and a short drive to the sandy beach of Whitesands Bay. The property is also a short drive to activities such as coasteering, surfing, visitor attractions and a range of coastal villages. St Davids has a cathedral, bishop’s palace and an excellent range of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.

Enter this beautiful, single storey cottage through a hallway, where there is a handy WC with a washer/dryer and then through to the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This sumptuous area has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and the lounge area has a warming wood burner and a TV, making this the perfect home from home, any time of the year. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Thoughtfully finished and laid out, a second hallway leads to a beautiful master king-size bedroom, with chaise longue, TV and doors to the garden. There is a second king-size bedroom, also with a TV. There is a wonderful wet room and WC. A very welcoming cottage suitable for both couples and families looking for a quality holiday.

Heading outside there is a very large enclosed walled garden, laid to lawn with a patio area, perfect for al fresco dining with garden furniture and BBQ.

Wonderful location. Beautiful barn and Milo ( the dog) loved the big garden. The welcome food pack was a great surprise and everything was delicious and special (very thoughtful).

This is a superb dog friendly cottage with a large dog friendly garden. Very roomy and cosy. Its well equipped and very comfortable. Its very quiet and ideally situated close to Porthgain Claus and the the coastal path and half an hours walk from St Davids. The accommodation was spotless and the beds were extremely comfy. We had a problem with the Read morewashing machine while we were there and this was sorted out very quickly by the owner. Would highly recommend this property. Hide

Peaceful and beautiful location with great coastal walks on your doorstep for yourself and your four legged friend. Lovely barn with comfortable beds and modern kitchen. The garden was a real suntrap. If you want to switch off for a week it's the perfect place will definitely return Paul and Kath

Ty Hir is a fantastic place to stay - very well equipped, comfy beds and a great shower. The enclosed large garden was a big plus for our dog and a real sun trap for us. We went on picturesque coastal walks from the doorstep and rarely used our car - the local coastal bus service was a real bonus and we ordered food from local producers and farmersRead more via Peninsula Food and collected this from St Davids rugby club - everything was of really good quality. Lovely cottage with everything you could need. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and much larger than it looked in the photo . Big enough for zoomies! Real sun trap right into the evening for chilling out too. The location is perfect just 10 minutes walk to Porth Clais and then you are straight on to the coastal path which is stunning. A fantastic week. The cottage was excellent. It had everything we needed and was toasty warm. Its in a wonderful rural and quiet location. Our dog, Mavis, loved the open spaces and walks to the beach, as did we.

The cottage was in a very peaceful and scenic setting and was vey close to the beautiful Porth Clais, where our dog enjoyed swimming on a few occasions. The coastal walks nearby were also stunning and St. Davids was very convenient for shopping and eating out. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Great location for walking and beach visits. This property is perfect for a dog as it has enclosed garden which the others didnt seem to have. House is lovely, warm, bright and so very quiet!! Totally recommend staying there.
