Lovely cottage, in a stunning location. Perfect place to use as a base if you're going off walking or cycling - plenty of routes from the front door (or a short drive away!)

We enjoyed our stay at Stone End Lodge. It was cosy and comfortable for us and our dog. It provided the ideal base for discovering local trails and visiting nearby towns. We would stay here again and would recommend the lodge to friends and family.

Nice place to stay.Lovely & quiet. Ideal for a countryside getaway. We took the dog so a fenced in area around the property wouldve been preferred but we coped without this.

Great little place to stay on the edge of the forest, near a pub and fish and chip shop. Good to have parking over the road too. All you need for a lovely few days away, listening to the owls from the forest at the rear. Lovely walks along the Blue Rock trail down to Soudley and the quarry. Stunning scenery around the place in every direction.

Fabulous location, you are literally a hop, skip and a jump and you are in the forest! Great communication from the owners of a beautifully clean and well thought out property. Whilst they are delighted to welcome dogs, bear in mind that this property has no outside space.

Had a lovely holiday at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. Located in a quiet place with lots to do in the area, a big tesco only 5 minutes drive away and a fish & chip and Indian restaurant only a 2 minute walk. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a warm comfortable week and the location was perfect. Lovely to see the stars through the roof windows in the bedroom. We didn't realise until we arrived that there was no outside space. At this time of the year it didn't matter but would be reluctant to stay during the summer.

Lovely little annex cottage and a lovely location for crossing the road and being in the Forest of Dean. The cottage has all you need for a weekend break (that's all we did, so can't comment on longer stays). It was clean and tidy, with wi-fi, hot water and all the essentials for a home from home stay.
