Luxury barn conversion with own private hot tub and shared swimming pool, tennis court  and table tennis zone set on a working farm, close to Aberaeron and New Quay. Perfect to explore the varied culture, coast and countryside of Ceredigion.

Mydroilyn is a small village, just a short drive from Aberaeron and New Quay with picturesque harbours, Georgian architecture, colourful houses, shops, galleries and eateries. The interesting university town of Lampeter is a little further inland and offers a range of museums, galleries, shops and restaurants too. This is a perfect place to explore the very best of the culture, coast and countryside in Ceredigion. Why not experience the views by steam train, go on a boat trip dolphin spotting, walk the Dylan Thomas trail, join the Coastal Path or find the secluded sandy beaches. With lots to see and do, after a full day out you can return to relax in the hot tub. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Drive into the farm and straight ahead to this luxury barn with all your creature comforts. On entering this stylish property, you know you are in for a treat, walking into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with French doors opening out to the patio. The lounge area has a contemporary feel and is a perfect space for relaxing with leather sofas and sheepskins, Smart TV and coal effect electric fire. The kitchen area, with granite worksurfaces, is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, large air fryer, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. The kitchen island takes centre stage with comfortable bar chairs and lovely views over the garden towards the open countryside. The perfect setting to share a meal and plan your activities. You will also find a drinks fridge, chest freezer and washing machine in the separate shared utility room. Walk down the corridor and you will find two spacious bedrooms both with TVs, luxury bed linen and cosy robes for the hot tub. Choose from the king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC or the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with Jack and Jill shower room and WC, which is also accessed from the hallway.

Heading outside, you can relax and sit back on the paved patio area with hot tub, table and chairs and open views towards the countryside. You are welcome to use the large indoor covered swimming pool. Please note the swimming pool is not heated. There is also the shared tennis courts and undercover table tennis zone for you to enjoy. The barn is one of two properties on the owners working farm though privacy is assured. There is ample private parking at the property. Within the complex of the Welsh Cob Cottage is another property named Clysedale, also available to book.

Very comfortable cottage, well equipped, hot tub fantastic! Swimming pool great but as it's unheated. We enjoyed being on a working farm, surrounded by the animals , peaceful. We recommend & hope to stay again.

Cob Cottage was perfect for our week in Wales. Well equipped, comfortable beds and a sun trap patio plus bonus hot tub. Very quiet location but excellent for visiting the lovely coastline between Cardigan and Aberystwyth.

Fabulous facilities, we loved the pool and the hot tub. The property had everything that we needed, kitchen well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Superb accommodation, superb facilities & superb hosts. The cottage was excellently presented, spotlessly clean & very well appointed with everything we needed, together with some lovely, unexpected nice touches including welcome goodies. Welsh Cob Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay! I cannot think of anything that we were in need of everything was well thought out! The hot tub, swimming pool and tennis court kept my son and sister entertained the whole holiday! The cottage is situated on a working farm but is very peaceful in lovely surroundings. Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Near to the coast with lots to see and do. A soak in the hot tub in the evening is a nice way to finish off a day of walking or visiting local beaches.

Amazing accommodation, great location, within easy reach of New Quay, Aberaeron, Mwnt. The weather wasnt particularly on our side but the accommodation provided plenty of entertainment for our kids in the pool and hot tub. Lots of things recommended by the host on our arrival including Aberaeron carnival which was fab. Thank you all.

We loved it here and would thoroughly recommend. A very well equipped cottage with touches of luxury that made our stay very comfortable. We received a warm welcome and generous gift on arrival from the friendly owners who offered helpful tips on places to visit. The pool and table tennis provided lots of entertainment when we werent visiting the nRead moreearby beaches. Each evening we relaxed in the hot tub admiring the countryside views. We stayed with 2 children and a baby (family of 5). The children loved it- the eldest learned to swim without arm bands and the children loved looking at the animals on the farm. We loved the finishing touches: robes, candles, chocolates, flowers, Prosecco and much more! The property was extremely clean and has been maintained to a high standard. What an amazing holiday home on a peaceful farm! There was everything and more you could possibly need for lazy days staying in or it was easy to access nearby Welsh villages. The owners are friendly and available if needed. Despite the rubbish weather we had a lovely relaxing week away

Welsh Cob cottage was absolutely perfect, what a wonderful holiday we have had with our 14 year old , waking up each am to the sun in the garden with the pony and sheep on the other side of the fence, fantastic hot tub and wonderful ,up-to-date rooms with every bit of equipment you could need, a welcome pack ,flowers , some fizz, fluffy towels and Read morebath robes, candles and room sprays not to mention the lovely big tvs for evening films, pool and owners so pleasant.
