This complex of beautiful cottages is set above the village of Penclawdd situated on the North Gower coast. Explore the famous beaches of Gower for a day at the seaside, head to Cefn Bryn, famous for Arthur’s Stone and its stunning hikes, or head to the bustling city of Swansea, just a 30-minute drive away, for a great day out for everyone, with waterfront museum, marina and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. The Wales Coast Path is easily accessed from the village providing great access to North Gower. Also, in the surrounding area, is a choice of golf courses: The Gower Golf Club and Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Step inside this spacious property into the large lounge which has a stone fireplace, exposed wooden beams, polished wooden floors and boasts comfortable seating, an electric fireplace and TV with built in DVD player. This is a perfect place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring. There is also a pop up double bed to accommodate two extra guests if required. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your culinary needs with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. You can access the garden area from this room via the French doors. Heading further into the property, you will come across the spacious ground floor king-size bedroom with French doors out onto the patio showing great views of the Lougher. Completing the accommodation is the shower room with shower and WC.

Venture outside to your very own open-plan patio area with a table and chairs and a BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining. The attractive lawned enclosed communal grounds include three separate areas, the lounging zone, the hot tub and the seating area where you can sit and relax with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the spectacular views.

A booking system and rota will be present for the shared hot tub, the utility room and the various outdoor games will be available per cottage.

There is off -road parking for one car.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Clean, comfortable and well positioned for visits to the attractions in the area. The Stable cottage in which we stayed suites us and our two chihuahuas. As expected, it was a bit muddy due to the wet weather prior to our visit, but not unmanageable.

This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the Gower and local fishing of the estuary and surrounding bays. The view from the back of the property is wonderful and is assessed by the patio doors onto a small patio and a table and chairs are provided. The front of the property is pretty. Nice stay at t The Stables in the Gower. Visited most of the places outlined by our hosts. Peaceful spot with everything on hand. Recommend visiting Rhosilli. The local bar/tapas was our favourite (The Estury Bar)

A lovely cottage in a rural location but not far from a village. Well equipped clean and comfortable. Very helpful hosts. Lovely views across fields to the estuary. The Gower is a lovely area with lots to appeal to all ages. We would happily return in the future.

Beautiful location and excellent shared facilities - great for people with dogs. We loved the cottage and location. Adams and Lyns were excellent hosts. The cottage was very well equiped and nicely furnished. Plenty of room for us and the dogs and great to go through straight onto a patio where we ate all our meals looking out towards the Loughor. We had a lovely week in The Stable well furnished & comfortable, with every mod con required for a holiday. Based in pretty landscape dog friendly (on lead) gardens with scenic views across fields of horses, Loughor Estuary & Lanelli.
