Unique and welcoming upside-down accommodation adjoining the former water mill. Walk into the hall, hang up your coats, take off your boots and head upstairs. As you reach the top of the stairs take a moment to enjoy the exposed beams and interesting features in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The property has been empathetically and loving restored offering all the thoughtful little extras for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and feature lighting. Enjoy time over a meal either at the breakfast bar or the dining table overlooking the river. After dinner settle down on the comfy sofa, play board games, watch a film on TV, loose yourself in a good book and just relax in this special place. For even cosier nights in, light the log burner. Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, a double and a single with lovely views to wake up to and the bijou shower room with shower and WC.
Outside, directly accessed from the living area, there is a private enclosed patio with picnic table and a charcoal BBQ, perfect to relax and enjoy alfresco dining. Step out onto the adjoining footpath and explore the community orchard and lovely nature reserve. You are welcome to fish in the river at the far side of the property by arrangement with the owners. The cottage adjoins the owners’ property and has accessed through the owners garden. It has private parking for one car at the property. Bicycles can be parked under cover.
