The cottage was very comfortable with lovely views and the seating outside was private for relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed the log burner and appreciated having equipment to prepare an evening meal on the days when we didn't eat out. The quietness was a welcome contrast which meant we felt rested and refreshed at the end of our stay!

If you like great views & walking this place is perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and perfectly located to either explore the local area or just stay in and relax. The Ceiriog Valley is well worth a visit and Nodyn Y Nant gave two adults and a spaniel the best holiday home to spend the week in.

Great 3 night stay. Had everything we needed in the cottage. Friendly owners just next door if you need anything. Beautiful location, with babbling brook along side the generous patio area. Only one issue, which is totally not in the hands of the owners, is the road leading to the driveway is VERY bumpy ie pot holes. This is the only minus, and as Read moreI say, its a Council issue, not owners. We stayed with our little blind dog who soon got the layout sorted. Very comfortable cottage. Will stay again Hide

Clean, tidy and well decorated. We missed not having views from the cottage. All bar one of the small windows had something in front of it, to stop you looking out. The 64 bus is not too far off, and goes to Chirk and Llangollen. The local footpaths are well signed, and well used. If you geocache, there are plenty, reasonably well looked after.
