Set within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and with some of Wales' most appealing beaches and scenery, Newport has so much to offer. The town benefits from a sheltered bay and has its own local butcher, deli, cafes, restaurants and pubs to explore and enjoy, all within walking distance of this character cottage. Whether you prefer to explore the dramatic coast line or a relaxing break is what your looking for, this cottage offers a fabulous retreat all year round. 

As you enter this cottage, you will find yourself in the spacious kitchen/diner, the perfect social space to plan your days out with family and friends, with exposed stone walls and lots of character this country escape is the perfect place to enjoy a home cooked meal together. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Leading off the kitchen/diner you will enter the main hallway, to the left you will find a handy boot room/utility with washing machine and direct access to the front garden. The perfect space for hanging coats and kicking off your walking boots. To complete the ground floor is the cosy lounge area with comfortable seating and added wood burner perfect for those winter evenings. The lounge has a very relaxing feel and has a door leading to the side garden area. Whether you want to relax and watch TV or curl up with a good book this is the perfect retreat. Heading up the L-Shape stairs you will reach the first floor landing to your right you will find a spacious, light and airy double bedroom with added single daybed, the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful nights rest. Further along the corridor you will find the family bathroom with handheld shower over bath and WC. To complete the first floor is the master king-size bedroom with lovely views of the side garden and woods beyond, a calming retreat to relax in bed whilst enjoying the bird song.

Heading outside you have a large garden area that wraps around the front and side of the property, with garden furniture and washing line. This is a great space for all to enjoy, whether your having a family picnic or relaxing with a glass of wine watching the evening sun.

A delightful, spotlessly clean, warm, quiet and beautiful space to enjoy. Jennie was so welcoming and plenty of information was given on all the attractions within the area. This is a really lovely place, especially for dog owners (as long as your dogs are happy to sleep downstairs). The lovely huge garden is very secure and the cottage is very clean and comfortable with lovely owners that just leave you alone for the week. We will be back :-)

Possibly the best cottage weve stayed at. Suited our needs perfectly. The dogs loved the large enclosed garden and, despite trying very hard, could not find a gap in the fence! The large boot room was an ideal place to set up the dog crate and. Just returned from a weeks holiday at a lovely cottage, great location and marvelous owners. A week of relaxing away from the hurley burley of City living. This is a gem of a place. The location is convenient for visiting most of the National Park or even, simply, the stunning surroundings. There is so much to see and do just at the doorstep that there is no need to drive far to enjoy the scenery. The cottage is well-equipped and spacious. We've enjoyed an amazing holiday here, the cottage and location are perfect. An abundance of wildlife is on the doorstep including nesting swallows, tonnes of song birds, owls, fox and bats. Absolutely beautiful cottage, there is nothing the owners havent thought off to help you have a lovely break. If you have dogs the garden is brilliant as its all enclosed. ( Dogs arent allowed upstairs though,), theres a boot room too which helps with muddy paws and boots. The village isnt too far away which has a spar and some Lovely pubs, the cotRead moretage was lovely and warm And very cosy, very clean as well, we will definitely be going back. We had an absolutely lovely stay at the cottage last week with very friendly and attentive hosts. Beautifully clean and very well equipped and maintained. Loads of space internally and a large enclosed garden with plenty of parking space. Lovely quiet location at the end of a quiet lane. This is a beautifully equipped cottage in a very quiet location only a very short drive from Newport, which is a town with good shops and very good restaurants/pubs. The large garden area is dogproof and the location gives easy access to the coastal path, lovely beaches, castles, etc - a most attractive part of Wales.

A lovely cottage in a delightful position with an excellent garden for dogs, which is very secure. Pembrokeshire is beautiful and the cottage is close to the village of Newport and also Parrog on the coast path. Lovely walks and plenty of places to eat.

The cottage is very conveniently located directly off a main road near Newport, which is easily reached by footpaths. Lovely well equipped cottage in a peaceful setting with the bonus of a secure garden area. Everything was well presented and maintained. We were comfortable at all times. Walk into town is not that long but a bit hairy where the grass verge is narrow in one section.
