A cosy and peaceful cottage in a beautiful setting in Talybont-on-Usk. This cottage had everything we needed for a short break. We especially loved the log burner. The beds were very comfy too. Great location across the road from two pubs and close to the Mon and Brec canal. Also close to Brecon and Haye on Wye.

The cottage is dark downstairs and lights are needed even on a bright day. The photos show it as being light and airy. We would not have booked if we'd known this. It was clean and comfortable. The stairs could be a challenge. A good location in a lovely village with walks along by the canal from the door . Lovely cottage with original features, well equipped, cosy, clean and central to the Beacons and local towns. Lovely walks along the canal towpath. Parking on the road across from the cottage wasn't an issue either. Would definitely book again.
