A perfect little cottage for our family stay. Very traditional and characterful but beautifully decorated and clean. Walking distance to Hay but also lots of countryside walks from the doorstep. So many waterfalls. Wish we had a longer stay so may well book again. Very friendly owners on the Mill House next door.

We had a wonderful New Year break. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location for a stroll into Hay-on-Wye. We would love to return.

Lovely cosy home with a lot of character. EXACTLY the right walking distance from Hay, along a nice easy part of Offa's Dyke path. You might need to light the lounge fire at this time of year.

We had a truly wonderful stay here over the Christmas period, the cottage was more than we hoped. It was well equipped, clean and spacious. The bedrooms were lovely and large with extremely comfortable beds and pillows, its was warm and cosy and we all slept amazingly well. We loved the Rayburn and it cooked our Christmas lunch to perfection. The cRead moreottage was perfect for our mixed party and dogs but the lounge was a bit 'snug' when we all wanted to sit in there in the evening. Would return!! Hide

Very comfortable and relaxed cottage. Great to use a range and the weather was cold enough to snuggle down in front of the lovely wood burners. Loads of walks to access. And the views if you take the drive down Forest Road from Hay on Wye Wow!
