A beautiful remote cottage. Ideal for gathering thoughts and rest from the rat race. Comfortable enough with fantastic space both indoors and beautiful surroundings. Good for families with children. Fairly disability friendly with just the stairs up to the bedrooms to manage- otherwise level with a nice downstairs wet room.

Animals and nature surround Top Of The Lane Cottage, which is within the farm's boundary and sits in its own private wilderness. On a beautiful, sunny, warm day, we walked from the doorstep to Llyn y Fan Fawr. When we returned, we used the small gated garden area at the back to cook a BBQ while taking in the natural wildlife garden and lambs. The cRead moreottage's whole estate is beautiful and peaceful. The cottage has been tastefully renovated and feels cosy. A return is on the cards. Hide

For people like us who love walking straight from the door/watching birds and wildlife/relaxing in peace and quiet, the location is superb. Luckily the weather was fantastic and we enjoyed a variety of walks with stunning views of the wonderful landscape. The cottage is" traditional-rural" but comfy and well-equipped; we particularly appreciated thRead moree generous store of logs for the wood burner which we used on several evenings, also the second freezer stocked with farm products for sale.
