This is a good size family cottage which is handy if you want to pop into the town to visit the sites or just grab a coffee in the many great cafes. The dedicated parking is a big bonus. The cottage is one of the best equipped we have stay it in our many years of New Year week breaks. A loo on each floor was very handy. There is a secret garden areRead morea to the side of the cottage which would be a great space to relax in or for the kids to play safely in the warmer months. Highly recommend! Hide

Ty Mawr was warm, comfortable, well-appointed and very clean. It is in a great location close to the centre of Hay-on-Wye, within 5 minutes stroll of the bookshops. Charlotte was hugely helpful at all times. This was our second stay and we appreciated it greatly.

Excellent location with the added bonus of a parking space or space for 2 small cars. Very comfortable house with little garden. Sadly it was too wet to make use of it.

Surprisingly spacious and very well maintained; off-street parking a great plus, and location ideal for both town and riverside walking. Altogether completely up to expectation and more.

Charlotte was an excellent host and kept us updated regarding access to the cottage on the day. We received a message from Charlotte to say we were able to access the cottage earlier than expected which was good news after a relatively long journey. The cottage is placed in the town centre and great for accessing the pubs/cafes and book shops. We vRead moreisited the Hay Festival during our stay and this for us was a pleasant walk from the cottage. Relaxed and friendly village Hide
