Common Cottage is just perfect its a real home from home has everything you need for a homely, comfortable, peaceful getaway and in a great location for exploring the area. Our dog loved chilling out in the cosy lounge or in his bed with under floor heating in the kitchen after a day out exploring. We also enjoyed having leisurely breakfast in the Read morewell equipped kitchen, then returning to a warm comfortable evening in the lounge and a comfortable nights sleep. Fantastic cottage - really recommend it. Beautiful views including the River Wye. Very well presented and comfortable - real home from home with lovely homely touches including some gorgeous Welsh cakes when we arrived.

This cottage is of an high standerd. Spacious, quiet, lovely vieuws, a lawn and terrace to sit. Nearby Hay-on-wye which we found the most lively village in the surroundings. The brecon beacons nearby. We reccomend this cottage as very good!

Common cottage is clean, warm and very well appointed and equipped, the owner has thought of everything yo provide comfort during the stay. We have stayed on three separate occasions and will return. The area has plenty to offer from glorious hill walking to river activities and the scenery and views are breathtaking.

We had a fabulous week in Common Cottage. The kitchen was superbly equipped. The lounge and bedrooms also excellent. We absolutely loved the Welsh cakes left by the owner. The location is great for visiting the Brecon Beacons, surrounding towns and other places of interest. I hope were able to return in the future.

Common Cottage was anything but 'common'! Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and just about everything you'd need for a luxurious, relaxing break.
