The cottage is about a mile west of Bosherston, a tranquil village with an inn, tearooms, and a farm shop. The village is home to the magnificent Stackpole Estate, St Govan’s Chapel and Broad Haven South, a sheltered dune-backed beach with soft golden sand which looks out to Church Rock. Famous for the Bosherston Lily Ponds, the Stackpole Estate offers opportunities for fishing, water sports, walking, cycling and spotting wildlife including otters and dragonflies. Whilst exploring the area a little further, you can visit the historic town of Pembroke (5 miles) and the popular coastal resorts of Tenby (14 miles) and Saundersfoot (14.5 miles). Local attractions include Oakwood Theme Park, Manor Wildlife Park, and Heatherton World of Activities (all within 15 miles).
On entering this welcoming holiday cottage you will find yourself in the compact kitchen, which has a low beamed ceiling, this leads through to the characterful lounge/diner. The cosy lounge is a lovely area for relaxing in with a TV, DVD and plenty of seating including a double sofa bed. Relax on the sofa and watch a movie, catch up with a good book or chat late into the night. The dining area is perfect for enjoying a favourite family meal which you can cook in the kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven/hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, and dishwasher. The washing machine can be found in a nearby utility room. Stairs lead up to the pretty mezzanine bedroom which features a double bed and additional small single bed, and has exposed beams set in the low sloping ceiling. The property also features a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Stepping outside, there’s a large, shared lawn to the front of the property with picnic benches. To the rear of the property there’s an enclosed garden with seating area which cannot be accessed directly from the property, you will need to walk out from the front around to the back. Parking is available for one car.
