Step straight out from this holiday home for four guests, plus a baby, and wander down to Tenby’s North Beach. This sheltered, expanse of sand, overlooked by the town’s renowned pastel-coloured seafront homes, is the perfect place to relax, play and splash in the sea. Also try Castle Beach, approximately 300m away, which looks out towards St Catherine’s Island and Napoleonic Fortress. While in Tenby, savour the cafe culture, with its plethora of eateries and watering holes to choose from. Book a boat trip out to see the seals when the sun is shining or try the Tudor Merchant’s House museum on a rainy day. Drive to Colby Woodland Garden, 6.5 miles away, or take the children to have fun at the dinosaur park, about 2.5 miles from this seaside base.
Open the door to this two-bedroom retreat and find yourselves in the entrance hall. Make your way through into the well-presented, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its contemporary kitchen area, complete with stylish breakfast bar and stools. You’ll find it well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. When not preparing meals or snacks in here, settle down on the comfortable seating to watch the flat screen TV, which has Freesat, or perhaps a DVD. Find a handy cloakroom at ground floor level, complete with WC. As night falls, climb the stairs to the first floor accommodation. This includes a family bathroom, with bath and shower above, WC, and a family shower room with another WC. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed; the other is a twin room. Both bedrooms have a TV with Freesat and DVD.
The outside space at this cottage is for parking only but with the beach so close guests can wander down on to the sand whenever they choose.
Please note the entrance into the Mews is quite restrictive so care must be taken
