With an idyllic location in Tal-y-Bont, golden sandy beaches, cafes, pubs, shops, museums and galleries all within easy reach. 4.5 miles from Barmouth with its harbour and the Mawdacch Estuary and 6.5 miles from Harlech famous for its castle, there so much to do here such as paddle-boarding, boat trips, fishing, sea swimming, rock climbing, walking and cycling. Fancy some golf? Head to Royal St David’s for the links golf course in Harlech, Coed-y-Brenin for mountain biking or for adrenaline seekers there’s Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog or walks to Cadair Idris. There are many historic sites, castles, museums and events to be enjoyed. Snowdonia National Park offers plenty of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events alongside the breath-taking scenery, perfect for a special treat for you and your loved one.

This cosy cottage is detached with plenty of space to relax. Park the car and walk over to the single-level property, through the gate into the garden. The front door opens into a porch with plenty of space for your sandals, boots and coats. To the left is the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher with views over the garden. If you decide to eat in, creating something special from the local fare you have bought on your travels, you can enjoy a romantic meal at the dining table perfectly positioned by the window with views over the garden. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofa, put your feet up on the pouffe, and watch a film on the Smart TV.  The bedroom has been designed for comfort, offering a good night’s sleep in its king-size bed.

The patio is a great spot to unwind in the enclosed garden. Listen to the sound of the nearby stream whilst you enjoy alfresco dining at the table and chairs, maybe use the charcoal BBQ, and a sundowner or two with stunning sunsets. There is private parking for two cars at the property.

We wanted peaceful/quiet cozy get away for 2 and that`s exactly what we got hot tub was great to relax in the cottage had everything, with the local pub just across the stream via a private footbridge 200yds max away was very good AAA+++++++++++++++++++

Second visit as a perfect cottage in a wonderful location. The dog loves the woods, as do we, and loved the changes every day. Pub is just as good and the addition of the ice cream by the beach made it a daily walk. Still so do much to see in the area we will be back.

Fantastic, gorgeous little cottage. The garden is perfect for those with dogs, the hot tub is a welcome addition. We couldn't have asked for more. The private path to the pub was a welcome surprise too! We never met the owner but texted a couple of times and she was lovely and helpful. Very spacious ground floor cottage in a peaceful coastal location Hot tub nice and relaxing after days out Plenty of nice places within easy reach, small train station,bus stop and beach close by. An absolutely wonderful little bungalow cottage! Location was lovely, away from noise, but only a few minutes away from the train station, Barmouth or the nearby beaches. Fabulous stay at this beautiful amazing property. It was very clean and comfortable. Every thing we needed was at our fingertips. The area was very quite and peaceful. Had a fabulous stay, the garden is secure for our dog and he loved walking in the woodland at the rear of the property. The beaches are close by and dog friendly, recommend Black rock sands for a day trip, take a picnic, to park on the beach costs 8.00, but worth it for a day, there are toilets there too, left side dog friend lovely beach. Fabulous cottage! Clean and fresh first impression. Cozy although rooms are spacious. Plenty hanger and storage for clothing in bedroom. We felt at home from the start. This was our second visit to this lovely little cottage. It's only a short walk to the picturesque woods and stream and to the beach perfect for walking the dog. The cottage is well equipped and nice and quiet. We are already thinking about booking again for next year.

The location attracted me to this cottage, by a wood and walking distance to a pub. We arrived at a little gem, clean comfortable and well equipped. The back garden is a sun trap and even in April we were able to use the hot tub and then sunbathe. The location is perfect if you like walking, the woods are magical and when we were there the bluebellRead mores were out. Walk in the wood or venture further if you like climbing hills. Cosy cottage in a great location for the beach and lots of walks. Pub was just out the gate and over a small bridge. The food was tasty and good value. The train station was half mile away and took only 7 mins to get to Barmouth. Great stay and would return.

We had a really lovely stay. Very clean and cosy, fairly private and beautiful area! Lovely walk up the river into the Forrest just at the back of the property, and a beautiful big beach just a 5 minute drive down the road. Cottage was gorgeous and the hot tub made it perfect! A lovely comfortable cottage plenty of room for 2 and a dog. The enclosed garden is good if you have a dog. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Ideal location for day's out to surrounding areas. A beach within walking distance or a short drive. The local pub just a walk away is dog friendly and serves good food. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely little cottage for two it was perfect for us to have a quiet place to relax in the garden and hot tub, everything you need in one place. Pub with good food two minutes away. The cottage is situated in a lovely quiet location close to the River Ysgethin and the Ysgethin Inn which is dog friendly and good for the odd meal, very busy at our time of visit it being a Bank Holiday week. The cottage was lovely. So clean and bright. Lovely and warm. It had everything we needed & the bed was comfy so we slept well. My only criticism (if it is one) is that the hot tub is overlooked by the guest house next door so being a big girl, I felt too self conscious to use it (the website pics give the impression it's inside the 'hut thing' in Read morethe garden, but it's not - its on the patio outside. The owner is lovely & popped in twice to make sure we had everything we needed. Hide
