For walkers and cyclists, you can access a network of Forest tracks for walking, mountain biking and cycling from the village, along with a flat walk into the pretty market town of Coleford where you will find a selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. For a little more adventure, you can enjoy rock climbing, caving and canoeing at Symonds Yat, Go Ape at Mallards Pike, and the downhill mountain biking tracks at Sallow Vallet. Other attractions include Clearwell Caves, Hopewell Colliery, Puzzlewood, and Perrygrove Railway. The annexe, formally a village shop, is set to the side of a traditional cottage.

From the far end of the passageway, you can access the lounge, a generous room enjoying natural light from the bay windows. Here you can relax after a day exploring, enjoy a movie on the TV, board games or a good book. There is a dining table and chairs that’s perfect for two. The kitchen is situated off the passageway, well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer. The bedroom is situated off the passageway, a spacious double enjoying a front aspect. There is also a bathroom with a bath and handheld shower, and a separate WC. Please note that there is a slope within the passageway.
