Also, within easy access is The Secret Forest, a beautiful woodland now reclaimed by nature, and Clearwell (3 miles) is a great underground experience with nine caverns for you to explore on rainy days, there’s also plenty to do from museums to caves, or how about spending some time riding a steam train through the forest.

Stay cosy at a touch of a button with underfloor heating and when the day is done you can climb into the double bed and enjoy garden views come morning.
