Elegant yet family-friendly townhouse overlooking the seafront, excellent abode for up to eight guests seeking a traditional seaside holiday with beach games, crabbing and seaside fare.

Beautiful Aberdovey is a fantastic destination for a seaside holiday with all the trimmings, whether you envisage lazy days on the beach building sandcastles, crabbing off the jetty and tucking into ice cream, or you foresee a more active holiday filled with adventures. Water sports such as paddleboarding, windsurfing and sailing are all possible, and the local area is renowned for its 18-hole championship golf course. Follow winding trails along the River Dyfi and challenge your inner adrenaline enthusiast with rambles through stunning mountain ranges or soak up the views as you amble along the popular coast path. However you spend your days, your impressive accommodation is the perfect haven to return to for hearty meals and relaxing with your loved ones.

Spread across four levels and boasting a cheerful exterior, this attractive townhouse overlooks the bustling seafront yet offers a comfortable retreat for large families. Step inside via the entrance hall, dusting off your sandy shoes, ready to relax. The kitchen/dining room is tastefully finished with tiled flooring and fresh decor, offering a dining table and seating in the bay window for settling down to enjoy family meals. The kitchen features an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave for rustling up delicious meals and clearing away afterwards, and an archway leads through to the utility room. Equipped with a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, this room has ample drying space. The first flight of stairs reveals a handy shower room with a shower and WC and a separate WC to save any squabbles over bathroom queues. Three further steps lead up to the first floor where you will discover a marvellous living room that’s perfectly tailored to socialising with its comfortable sofas, TV, DVD, SONOS Bluetooth speaker and seating in the bay windows. Prepare to watch your favourite films over a bowl of buttery popcorn, or simply sit down by the window and gaze out to sea. The first of the four bedrooms is also on this level, a pretty twin room with bedside storage and a small cupboard. The landing also features a rear door that is for emergency access only. Upstairs, the second floor reveals an elegant family bathroom with a bath, a WC and separate walk-in shower for a spot of pampering, and a double bedroom with useful storage and impressive views. Both the bathroom and the bedroom benefit from music speakers. The first is a twin room with bedroom furniture, and the second is a double with a TV and storage with excellent views.

There may not be a private outside space, but you are excellently located for the beach as well as Aberdovey’s array of amenities including a selection of shops and a public green immediately below the property, A permit is provided for one car to use in the nearby ‘Pay & display’ car parks.

Great location and views & well placed for beach, shops and numerous cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable beds, light bright seafront rooms, utility and kitchen well equipped. Great stay - thank you!

Great location near to beach, shops and pubs with stunning views. The property was comfortable although we could have done with more storage space in the twin bedded rooms. Plenty of crockery and cutlery etc provided. A few plastic plates and cups would have been a good addition. Swn Y Don is in a great location and suited our group of 8 adults. Aberdyfi is lovely. Kitchen is well equipped, and the showers are fine. Beds are on the soft side but comfortable with spare blankets provided. The two double rooms are spacious. The twin rooms are quite small but the beds are full size. Views from the bay windows on each floor are Read morelovely. The stairs are quite steep but with good hand rails. No welcome pack, not even milk. Better & bigger towels are needed. This house is a great place to stay, very close to the beach and play area and all amenities nearby, it has a great layout and very comfortable, also having the added bonus of 2 car parking passes which is great when there are 2 families. Will definitely be looking to come back next year.

A great house in the centre of the action in Aberdovey. The best thing is you get bedrooms for 8 for a very reasonable price. Everything you could want in terms of equipment, and where maybe something wasn't there a text to the agent produced instant results.

The moment we stepped foot in the house we were at home! The property was the best stocked on terms of equipment, it had everything you needed, it was as if you were staying in someone's ome.
