Overlooking Aberdovey’s popular golf course and within easy reach of the beach, this pleasant property is well positioned for an active holiday in Snowdonia National Park.

Set back from the hustle and bustle yet within easy reach of Aberdovey’s fantastic attractions, your accommodation sleeps six guests and overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course. Wander down to the village and explore the beach, arranging to take to the water by boat or trying your hand at the various water sports on offer here. Windsurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking are just a few options, but you could also keep your feet firmly on dry land and tackle the beautiful coast path. This is where the mountains of Snowdonia meet the sea at the mouth of the Dyfi River, so be sure to venture further into the stunning national park for your adventures, choosing from an abundance of trails and woodland walks.

Laid out in a reverse-level style, this comfortable property is family friendly but also suitable for couples and small groups. Enter through the wooden gate and step through the small porch, kicking off your muddy boots after your explorations. The bedrooms are positioned on the ground floor, welcoming you with cosy beds and a generous bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC immediately upon entering. There are three to choose from, a bunk bedroom ideally suited to children, a pretty twin and one king-size with built-in storage, bedroom furniture, seating and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. This room also has a door leading out to the shared garden. Climb the stairs to discover the open-plan lounge/diner, a pleasant space with fantastic views through the patio doors and large windows. Take a seat on the sofa or armchair, switching on the TV to watch your favourite shows and lighting the wood burner-effect electric fire. Partitioned by the stairwell, the other side of the room houses a dining table with ample seating, and a doorway leading through to the galley-style kitchen. Here you’ll find everything you need for preparing meals and clearing away afterwards including an oven and grill, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and a Melitta coffee machine.

The patio doors open onto the balcony where you can settle down on the garden furniture and sip your drinks whilst admiring the vistas. Outside, the shared grass area is a delight for children to play and there is off-road parking for one car.

This cottage was perfect for us. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable and perfectly located with easy access to the beach over the dunes and a half mile walk into town. We found this a great base for exploring too.

Great location and short walk to the beach and the town. Everything you could need was provided in the cottage and it had a quality, comfortable feel. Very nice upside down property . Views from the upstairs and the balcony are to die for and it's very well equipped. Aberdyfi is the perfect bucket and spade holiday town. Nice services in the town and parking is easy and very reasonably priced.

Wonderful views, and the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. I did not need to worry about the railway line being close. The location was perfect, we sat out on the balcony and ate breakfast in the sun, Aberdyfi itself is a wonderful holiday destination too. I would most definitely come back!

This holiday home is situated close to many attractions and great scenic journeys. It is a short walk into Aberdyfi/Aberdovey or car parking free for 45 minutes at the roadside. Reasonable fees in the central car park also. The town offers a variety of eateries and gift shops. We visited the Aberdyfi Osprey Project and the Talyllyn Railway, both ofRead more which offered great days out. There is a good train service from the local station. Living upstairs and sleeping downstairs was a unique experience. Hide
