Set within the Monmouthshire countryside close to the banks of the River Usk, the apartment offers beautifully finished ground floor accommodation, a perfect base for walkers and explorers no matter what the time of year.

Set deep within the countryside, there are walking trails aplenty leaving straight from the front door. Follow the scenic Usk Valley Walk which you can join just 0.25 miles away. A 30-mile drive will take you to the popular Brecon Beacons National Park where you can enjoy climbing the many hillsides, including the iconic Skirrid and Sugar Loaf. Cyclists can make the most of the peaceful lanes which meander through picturesque villages, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll taking in your surroundings. The area is also rich in heritage, with many castles including Chepstow,  Grosmont, Skenfrith and Raglan, and numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey, all within 20 miles.

Enter the apartment into the spacious entrance hall, take off your boots and head into the open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. Settle back for cosy evenings in the lounge area, which features sinkable sofas scattered with cushions and soft throws. Enjoy your favourite movies on the smart TV. Serve up your meals in the dining area, with its table and chairs set for four, or sip your morning coffee or evening tipple at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and coffee machine. A hallway gives access to the bedrooms, both finished with soft linen and throws. The first is a spacious super-king-size zip-and-link (that can be made into 3ft twin beds by request when booking), with a TV and en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. The second is a spacious king-size bedroom. There is also a shower room with a shower and WC. There is also a useful utility cupboard with a washer/dryer.

Outside there is a patio area to the side of the apartment, with garden furniture. There is allocated off road parking for two cars along with use of the communal parking area if needed.

Excellent accommodation, exceptional cleanliness and abundant welcome pack added to our enjoyed stay. The place definitely had a wow factor when we arrived. It was spacious, clean and very well equipped. We couldn't fault the accommodation at all. Josie could not have been more helpful.

The owners have really thought about what their guests might need and provided it. The kitchen was fully equipped,( including a full sized freezer, double oven & nespresso machine). The bedrooms wear generously sized and the showers hot & powerful. A comfy living room with abundant cushions and blankets and a patio set for lunch. Immaculate: everything is well thought out in this bright, spacious, quiet, one-level ground floor apartment. All rooms are extra-large and relatively new. This is a must place if your looking for a total quiet retreat with a beautiful scenic view. The property was absolutely fabulous, the family didn't want to come back home and wanted to stay another week but we had to leave due to work. This is a truly remarkable place to stay. The location is stunning and the apartments are absolutely fabulous. We stayed for 3 weeks and found the apartment to be a true home-from-home experience.
