Pack a picnic and head to any of the beautiful beaches along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast including Ogmore-By-Sea (10 miles) which is popular for horse riding, Southerndown (8 miles) popular with surfers, and Monknash (5 miles), a secluded beach accessed via a picturesque woodland walk.
