This light and bright open-plan property on the edge of Caernarfon offers wonderful countryside views. This is the perfect retreat for families and their four-legged friend.

An all-year-round destination, just 1.5 miles from the centre of Caernarfon with its 13th-century castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the waterside Doc Fictoria with its art complex, independent shops, and restaurants, interesting harbour, and events. Pop to the seafront at Dinas Dinlle (8.5 miles) with an ancient hill fort and beautiful beach which is an idyllic spot, perfect for swimming, water sports, and enjoying superb views. Llanberis, Bangor, and Anglesey are all within 10 miles. Visit attractions such as Penrhyn Castle, Beaumaris Gaol, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Bangor Pier, maybe ride on a Welsh Highland Railway steam train, Snowdon Mountain Railway, and walk down from Snowdon’s summit all within 14 miles. Go sea fishing, watch wildlife or discover Snowdonia National Park (23 miles).

Continue along to the spacious kitchen area filled with natural light and views from the French doors. The kitchen is a lovely space to rustle up a meal with all the equipment you need including the electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The dining table is perfectly positioned to enjoy a meal together overlooking the patio. After dinner relax on the comfortable sofas, plan your holiday activities, or find your favourites on the Smart TV for cosy nights in. Exploring this delightful property further, you will find two bedrooms to choose from: the super-king-size zip-n-link (can be made into twin beds on request) with en-suite shower and WC, and the twin room (can be made into a super-king-size on request). To complete the accommodation, there is a spacious bathroom with bath, shower, and WC; perfect for a leisurely start to the day.

Outside there is the paved patio with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. There is private parking for two cars and space for canoes, paddleboards and bikes with the agreement of the owner. You’ll also find an electric car charging point. The property is on the grounds of the owner's home and stables; privacy is assured at all times.

The cottage is surprisingly easy to reach in a good location very near to the town. The accommodation is spacious .and parking is right outside the house. I had difficulty understanding the speech from the TV I think there is a poor signal in the area and the height of the room seemed to distort it. We did enjoy our stay .

From its location on the outskirts of Caernarfon, the cottage is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia It is warm, comfortable and well equipped. Sara is a very good host- friendly and helpful.

It is a peaceful place situated just outside centre of Caernarfon & where we wanted to be located for our trips out to Llyn Peninsular, Snowdonia, and Anglesey. A very clean, comfortable and well equipped property in an excellent location. It is both pleasantly rural, with fields of ponies, but also very handy for the town and for getting to the main roads. Much of wonderful North Wales is just on the doorstep. The owners Sara and Huw were welcoming and helpful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, hosts were friendly and helpful, the cottage was spotless and included everything needed for our stay. Great location for Snowdon and we visited many other places that were beautiful such as Llandwyn Beach, Pardan Lake and Caernarfon to visit the castle, all within a short drive. This barn conversion was amazing and done to an incredibly high standard. It was in a fantastic location for going out and about with lots of things to do within a 45 minute drive and was only a 6 minute drive into the town and supermarkets. This house is lovely. The standard of finish is very good and there was no amenity we were without. The location is very convenient for Anglesey, Lln peninsula and Cardigan Bay, being located just off of a major road (which you cannot hear). There is outdoor space but this is open onto the yard so exercise caution if you have small people in your pRead morearty. The car charger is 3 phase, 22kW as advertised. This is a really good cow shed conversion, very modern ,very comfortable,very clean and spacious too. The setting is very quiet, surrounded by cows and horses. Absolutely lovely. Spectaculer! Very welcoming couple Sara and Huw who own the cottage. Felt at home as soon as we arrived. Everything catered for, welcome pack. Everything to make a cuppa or a glass of wine to enjoy. Lots of places close to visit within 30 to 60 mins or less. Love to visit again

Lovely cottage with modern and quality furnishings and equipment. Peaceful and well placed without being remote. Excellent for excursions onto Anglesey, the Lleyn peninsula and into Snowdonia as well Caernarfon itself. Dog friendly and for me it was very useful to have use of the EV charger.
