Local activities include canoeing, fishing, cycle trails, rock climbing and many miles of footpaths. You may wish to visit the Forest of Dean (9 miles) and take a steam train ride through spectacular scenery or visit the filming locations of Harry Potter and Star Wars. Nearby are the historical towns of Ross-on-Wye (7 miles) with its 17th-century market house and Monmouth (6.5 miles), the birthplace of King Henry V. The cathedral city of Hereford (21 miles) offers an array of shops and restaurants.
This open-plan lodge is situated above a private garage for parking your car and is large enough to store mountain bikes and canoes. There are additional storage units and a small freezer for your stay. The stairs from the garage lead you to your accommodation where your holiday truly begins. Perfectly situated below the window is a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a meal or a drink whilst enjoying the undisturbed panoramic view. There is a wood burner and a comfortable reclining settee to view the Smart TV or continue to enjoy the views. The kitchen is well equipped for all your catering needs. A cedar sliding door takes you into the double bedroom with a hanging rail and drawer space. From the window, there are more views of the rolling countryside.
