Part of a collection of enchanting retreats on the owner’s organic farm, near the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, within Snowdonia National Park. The location is stunning with views across fields to the dunes of the vast sandy beach of Morfa Dyffryn. The beach is 1.5 miles away and offers a large expanse of sand which stretches for miles. The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy has a shop, cafe, and railway station on the scenic Cambrian line, all within 1 mile. Barmouth (5 miles) is a traditional seaside resort with ice cream shops, cafes and restaurants, a great beach and access to the Mawddach Estuary. Zip World, Caernarfon Castle and Welsh Highland Railway can all be found within 31 miles.
Step into the cottage on the first floor and you are welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – a wonderful room that makes the most of the views and has a beautiful high-beamed ceiling. The lounge/diner has comfortable seating with a large feature fireplace with an electric fire and a dining area for those family meals at the end of the day. The kitchen area is well-equipped and a great space to cook whilst also being sociable with guests who are relaxing in the lounge. Heading downstairs you can find two bedrooms, a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made in a twin upon request) and a double bedroom. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Outside you can find a picnic area with tables and a children’s play area. There is also a shared games barn with a pool table, table football, air hockey and table tennis – perfect for those rainy days.
