Set amidst the beautiful scenery of rural Mid Wales, this shepherd’s hut is a great place for couples to escape for a while. Sleeping two, the hut is tucked away on a glamping site in St Harmon, with a myriad of walking trails and outdoor adventures on the doorstep. Explore the winding pathways of the wildlife-rich Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles), watch the daily feeding displays at the Red Kite Feeding Station (3 miles), and admire the impressive dams of the Elan Valley (6 miles). If you need to stock up on supplies or fancy a romantic meal in a local restaurant or pub, Rhayader is 3 miles away, with a variety of shops and places to eat.
Three wooden steps lead up to the entrance of this unique glamping property. Inside, the living space is open-plan, with everything you could need to make yourselves at home. A kitchenette provides all the necessary equipment for whipping up homecooked meals and there’s a small table with two chairs where you can dine. The electric wood burner effect fire will take the chill off any stays during the colder months. When it's time for bed, a king-size bed awaits at one end of the space, with a Smart TV mounted on the wall above if you fancy watching a film under the covers. A shower room completes the interior of the hut.
From the outside patio area, you can make the most of the glorious countryside views. Dine alfresco with a backdrop of rolling, green fields or sink into the private hot tub for a night under the stars.
