This romantic retreat is 5 miles from Machynlleth town with its shops and eateries. Enjoy spectacular views from sunrise to sunset and many activities nearby from this hillside park. It is also located 6 miles from Aberdovey with its 3-mile-long sandy beach, golf club, shops, eateries and events. Enjoy outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, cycling, water sports, fishing and golf within the Snowdonia National Park (5 miles), famous for its mountains, waterfalls, lakes and coastline. Or, experience a steam train ride on the Talyllyn Railway (11 miles), a historic narrow-gauge steam railway running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol – you can alight at Dolgoch Falls. The chalet is also located a 15 minute walk away from Plas Talgarth which offers indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, squash courts, putt golf course, health spa and Indian restaurant.

Walk through the park and up to the lodge, with exterior steps to the deck. As you open the door, hang up your coats and instantly feel at home in this stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with all the thoughtful extras for your stay. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen area is perfect to rustle up a meal with your local produce purchased from your travels. The back door is here and opens up to the rear garden. When ready, the dining table is the perfect setting for a romantic meal overlooking the deck and beyond. Open the feature patio doors, let the outside in and listen to birdsong. After dinner, relax on the comfortable sofa, watch a film on the Smart TV or just embrace the views. When ready for bed, head through to the relaxing bedroom with a king-size bed with a Hypnos mattress. This is a lovely property to wake up in. Take a leisurely start with a refreshing shower and plan your activities over breakfast for the day ahead.

Outside, there is the front deck with a table and chairs, far-reaching views and wildlife to spot. If you fancy al fresco dining, go through to the back where there’s a bench and charcoal BBQ overlooking the mountains and the valleys, often with sheep and their lambs in springtime. There is a set of golf clubs in the shed if you are heading to the golf course.

Very nice fully equiped chalet on a small park with the Welsh coastpad on it 's doorstep. Very quiet surroundings. Several walks possible directly from the chalet, but also Aberdovey and Tywyn can be reached easily by car. In the apartment there is a living area with kitchen which has cooking facility, oven and microwave. Besides there is a sleepinRead moregroom with a double bed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful Welsh hills. Hide

We have a lovely honeymoon week staying here. There was absolutely everything provided. If you forgot something it was here. There was also welcome milk and bread and butter and coffee. It was super clean and well decorated. It did take a while to figure out how to use the new hob but every manual was provided. I enjoyed the bedside lamp with its cRead morehanging colours. We arrived in the dark, due to unforseen circumstances, so it was difficult to locate the chalet. The views were wonderful. Hide
