Set in a quiet and peaceful remote location near the top of Llanllwni Mountain, on the edge of and overlooking Brechfa Forest. Surrounded by open fields, with far reaching views and walks from the door. Llanllwni Mountain is a recognised Dark Sky area. The village of Brechfa (6 miles) is steeped in fascinating history and Brechfa Forest, on your doorstep, is a popular destination with walkers and mountain bikers of all abilities, with a variety of trails to enjoy. Llandovery (18.6 miles), is on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog in a pretty little market town where you can enjoy browsing boutique shops and independent cafes. Should you wish to witness some of Carmarthenshire’s stunning coastline, Llangrannog provides a great day with its golden sandy beach and interesting caves to view.
Step through the front door into the generously sized entrance hall where there is plenty of space to store your coats and shoes. From here you can access the main lounge area where you can unwind in front of the wood burner after a busy day of explorations. From the lounge, you can access the spacious kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare a tasty meal to fuel the troops. This room leads onto the utility room and a handy downstairs shower room. Leading from the lounge area is a fabulous sunroom with wrap-around windows providing you with a calming space to read a book or simply open the French doors and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside. Head upstairs for a good night's sleep, where you will find three bedrooms: a single, a super-king zip-and-link that can be made up as twin beds if required, and finally a double bedroom. Each bedroom enjoys beautiful countryside views and offers plenty of storage. Completing upstairs is the family bathroom.
Outside, the garden is fully enclosed with dining furniture and a BBQ. The garden neighbours onto a farming field with livestock and there are additional fields available for walking your furry friends.
