This lovely stone cottage with an enclosed courtyard garden is in the heart of Dolgellau. This pretty market town, nestling below southern Snowdonia's highest peak Cader Idris, offers independent shops, pubs, cafes, wine bars, restaurants and music events throughout the year. Explore the area by foot or by cycle which you can hire in the town, down the famous Mawddach Trail, along the river, or climb the Cader range. Within 9 miles you can discover the beaches of Fairbourne and Barmouth, and Coed y Brenin Forest Park with its world-renowned mountain bike trails. Ride on a steam train or take the water ferry from Fairbourne Beach to Barmouth Harbour. Perfect for an active holiday or just relax and savour the breathtaking views of majestic mountains and stunning coastline.

Walk into this cosy cottage full of period features and creature comforts. The lounge diner is a lovely space to relax in, with comfortable sofas, chairs, a Smart TV, and an inglenook fireplace with a warming wood burner. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen with feature stone walls, has all you need to rustle up a meal with the local produce purchased from your travels. Open the French doors to the courtyard garden and enjoy the sound of birdsong whilst you create a culinary delight. Once ready, the dining table is the perfect setting to gather around, enjoy your meal and plan your holiday activities. After dinner settle down in the lounge, watch a film and light the wood burner for cosy nights in after a full day out. When you’re ready to retire, choose from two lovely bedrooms upstairs, both with double beds, designed for a good night's sleep and your comfort in mind. Take a leisurely start to the day in the stylish shower room on the ground floor.

A very comfortable cottage which was warm and welcoming to enter. A very central location with easy access to amenities and for a base for exploring the surrounding areas.
