After a full day exploring the wonderful local area, make your way back to your Shepherds Huts, set on a plot within a wider small holding that is not overlooked, ensuring total privacy. The huts have been lovingly restored with the owners looking to give guests an authentic and unique experience, allowing guests to get back to nature in beautiful surroundings. The first of the three huts his home to the main bedroom, with a comfortable double bed with soft and luxurious linens, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The built-in bed has plenty of storage underneath for bags and to put away clothes and there is a small dresser and chair. There are power points for charging devices and a lovely wood-burning stove for the cooler evenings and to boil the kettle for a cup of tea in the morning. The second hut, which is adjacent, is the kitchen/diner area with a wood-fired cooker and a dining table. The stove has an oven and hob for cooking and there is an additional camping-style gas stove for convenience. The table provides a great space to dine or enjoy a game of cards in the evening. It also cleverly doubles up as an additional bed if travelling with children. The third hut is set behind the first two and has a full shower, WC, and basin.
The three huts are grouped together on a private plot within the 12 acres small holding and are not overlooked. The kitchen/diner hut has a decked area with table and chairs and overlooks the serene countryside, ideal for enjoying a meal alfresco or your morning coffee. There is a large fire pit with seating which can be used to BBQ or to sit around in an evening enjoying the stars in this unspoiled location. There is also a Hikki Wood Fired Hot Tub available to use (logs can be purchased on site). The small holding has two further cottages that have access to a zip line that is located in the same field as the huts.
