The house was generally well equipped and comfortable. It was good value for money. Some things could have been a bit cleaner. The internet signal is erratic, so I wouldn't rely on it for working, for example. The town is a great location for exploring the wider area. There's a beautiful lake up the hill amongst the old slate mines. Overall the expRead moreerience was very impersonal - you get the keys from the key box and leave them again afterwards, and there's no 'tips + information' pack or anything. Hide

Pretty little holiday cottage, perfect for a few days, the location was perfectly suited for our walking needs. Parking is really limited, as you would expect, and the lack of space to hang/dry anything made dealing with the wet weather a little tricky. Otherwise perfect.

Well presented and lovely little terrace cottage in equally lovely scenery, would certainly like to stay here again if the chance arises as its perfectly situated to get to most points of interest (for me) in North Wales within 45 minutes.

Cottage was basic but more than adequate. On arrival it felt very cold but soon warmed up with the burner going. Lovely comfy bed & lovely stay. The town is a little ran down which is a shame. We didn't have too many problems with parking but think this could be difficult when busy. There is a lovely walk out of the back of the cottage past an abanRead moredoned village & through the old slate mines. Not a bad base to explore from. We went in the Kings Head and found the locals very friendly & welcoming Hide

A charming cosy cottage: has all you need for a walking or cycling trip or just an escape to the wonderful mountains. I was there mid-February and it was not cold.
