You can also canoe along the River Wye or venture out on two wheels to explore by bicycle. Beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog can be accessed from Hay-on-Wye. The archaeological sites of Arthur’s Stone and Snodhill Castle, featured on the BBC’s Digging for Britain, are within 2 miles of the cottage.
