This cosy and contemporary holiday cottage is located in the beautiful seaside village of Aberporth. Nestled in the stunning Cardigan Bay area, Aberporth benefits from two sandy beaches, one of which is dog friendly all year round. The village also has a good selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants to choose from. You can gain access to the Ceredigion Coast Path from here and there's a great little walk to neighbouring Tresaith (1 mile on foot) where you may spot dolphins in the bay while you're en route. Head up the coast to New Quay (14.5 miles) and you can book a sightseeing boat trip around Cardigan Bay or enjoy fish and chips along the harbour wall. Cardigan can be reached in just 7.5 miles, a traditional market town with a great selection of independent cafes, bars, and restaurants plus a theatre.
As you enter the cottage, you will find two lounges on the ground floor. Both benefit from comfortable sofas and Freeview TVs – perfect for mixed family groups who may like to spread out and enjoy their own space. The contemporary and open-plan kitchen/diner has all the necessities to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay and a dining table for you to eat together as a family or pull out a board game in the evening. There is a convenient shower room on the ground floor, ideal for when you get home from the beach and the property also has the benefit of a utility room. Head upstairs to the first floor and you will find three of the four bedrooms: a king-size, a twin and a bunk bedroom. All bedrooms have storage space and a light, airy feel. The family bathroom is also on this level with a bath, shower cubicle and WC. The second-floor loft room enjoys a king-size bed and glimpses of the sea in the distance.
Externally, the cottage boasts a large, enclosed rear garden with decorative gravel and level lawn area. Outdoor seating and a picnic table have been provided – enjoy a cold drink or a bite to eat alfresco on those warm summer evenings.
