This apartment is one of four apartments set in the heart of Talgarth, in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The apartment boasts a wonderful location, with an array of pubs, independent shops, and a restored watermill all within a short walk. This is the perfect base to enjoy both a relaxed or active break away, as there is a wealth of activities all within easy reach such as walking, mountain biking, kayaking and horse riding. A short drive away from the apartment you will find a selection of market towns to explore and enjoy such as Crickhowell, Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, which is ever-popular for being the town of books. As you enter the character hallway, you will climb the stairs to reach this first-floor split level apartment. As you open the front door and make your way along the corridor you will enter the lounge/diner which has been tastefully decorated and is a cosy, social space to enjoy with family or friends. With a comfy sofa (that can convert into a double sofa bed) and a Smart TV with Netflix, making this is the perfect space to unwind and relax. There is also a compact formal dining area, to enjoy a meal together if you choose to eat in. Leading off the dining area and down a few steps, you will reach the kitchen which comes fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. Climb back up the stairs and out of the lounge into the hallway and you will find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. To complete the apartment, you will find the master double bedroom with lots of attention to detail and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good nights rest.

Right in the centre of Talgarth, this is a great location for all the village amenities. The Mill next door is worth a visit and sells delicious bread, and we popped our heads in the Post Office Museum below the flat too. The Bridge End Inn next door does lovely food and good beer. Lovely place to stay in a lovely village. Very comfortable. Everyone welcoming in all of the local shops. Can definitely recommend the ice-cream, particularly after a good walk.

The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and despite being on the main street, was really quiet at night. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was clean and fresh. The location in Talgarth was perfect for getting around, and very near to Brecon, Pen y Fan and Hay-on-Wye We would absolutely stay here agaRead morein. Hide

This is a lovely clean apartment in a beautiful old building. The village is extremely friendly with a pub that serves great beer and food. Be aware however that the pub is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! There is also a very good butchers/deli and a grocery stocking lots of organic products. A very clean and well presented property. Cosy and quiet.. Kitchen is well equipped with all the necessaries if youre looking to cook in. The shower is powerful and hot which is great. Nothing luke warm and wimpy here!
