One of four beautiful lodges enjoying an idyllic setting within the Brecon Beacons, both spacious and contemporary offering guests the perfect backdrop for any occasion whatever the time of year.
Nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, with farm walks and views across the Usk Valleys. Just 1 mile from the village of Talybont-on-Usk, potter to the local shop and pub with ease. Brecon lies in one direction and both Crickhowell, with its range of independent shops and the foodie haven of Abergavenny, lie in the other. The Brecon and Monmouth Canal with its pretty towpath runs nearby, or explore the River Wye and the River Usk. Walk from your door and up the lane to the foothills of the Beacons or perhaps head downwards to the country pub. Explore the local history at Tretower Castle and Court, (6 miles) White Castle and Raglan Castle (21 miles), or spend a day rummaging through bookshops at Hay-on-Wye (20 miles).
Enjoy the views across the valley before you step inside this beautifully finished lodge, finished to a high standard and perfect for groups wanting to get away and enjoy the countryside. The open plan living space has been well configured offering guests a cosy space to relax and unwind in front of the wood burner (first basket of logs included), for dining, a table and chairs and for the chef amongst you a bespoke built kitchen that is well-equipped to offer an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. A generously sized double bedroom with garden views offering access to an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and WC. A twin room enjoying valley views, and a king-size mezzanine bedroom accessed from the lounge area. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC.
Outside the garden has an open aspect within sympathetically landscaped grounds. There is a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the dark skies, and there is a table and chairs for dining and BBQ. There is guest parking for two cars within the site car park.
